The German word Gestalt means “a complete pattern or configuration.” Your clients, whether they are an individual, a group or an entire organization, have an innate desire to become whole and integrated.The magic of Gestalt coaching is born out of the development of the whole-system. It is built on the coach’s ability to use his or her full self, and to address the dilemma between the client’s desire and resistance to change. The job of a coach is to help clients become fully who they are by raising awareness, staying in the present moment, engaging in experiences, gaining access to a full range of choices, and reaching for growth.
The intent of this mini workshop is to teach Gestalt coaching by your participating in a Gestalt, or a picture. By going through the experience, you will learn the power of Gestalt in coaching. At the end of the workshop, you will:

Ms. Young is uniquely qualified in the coaching and development of the “Whole Person” leadership. For the last 20 years, Ms. Young has worked with FORTUNE 500 clients to develop vision and strategies to manage change in their businesses worldwide. She coaches and develops globally competent and multi-culturally versatile leaders individually and in teams, so that they can help mold a new organization that is open to and capable of fully utilizing the diversity of its people and responding to the needs of its customers globally.Ms. Young has a MBA in Marketing from Michigan State University and a MA in Counseling Psychology from Pepperdine University. She was born in Hong Kong, raised in Taiwan and has family ties in China. Learning and working on both sides of the Pacific Rim, has given her the unique ability to straddle the two worlds.
