June 9, 2009 - 6:15 PM to 8:30 PM Coaching Community Event A Deeper Understanding of Your Client's Model of the World by Lucy Freedman, CEO Syntax Communication Modeling Corporation
Increase your credibility and effectiveness by attuning closely to how your clients learn, make decisions, and take new actions using Neurolinguistic Programming .
This lively interactive session will lay out the structure of change represented in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) and other communication models as applied in corporate and individual change work. With a shared framework of how people learn and how coaches and mentors can model effective relationships, we will try out several interactive exercises that illuminate the framework and demonstrate the behavioral choices we can offer our clients. This material is grounded in three decades of NLP application to coaching and consulting in organizations, particularly with high-tech professionals and executives. - Increase your attunement to your clients’ – and prospective clients’ – mental maps
- Use powerful questions from the deep structure of personal change
- Build relationships that not only coach but also model positive options for your clients
- Take away strategies for engaging client strengths to accomplish their goals
